Anxiety is creatively directed fear. Redirect your creativity. :) Every time I go to type “disguised” my fingers type “directed.” Which do you think is better? Why?

There are as many versions of me as branches on this tree.
What you show of yourself cues what you’ll see of me.
I lie in the grass to absorb the night sky,
Brilliant, fascinating, circling by.
Imagine I’m Earth and the view I would see,
Encompassed, illuminating, boundlessly free.
Show me yourself as the sky sees the sky,
Within and without, a view from all sides.

my hand, it trembles, you steady my grip
as we illuminate my fears with one swift click
on goes my light, forth pours my love
flooding out to all sides, below and above

The choice between fear and love is not simple. Some say we have cracks in our hearts that we need to fill with love. But our cracks aren’t hollow, they’re just dark. And love? Love illuminates. If we do not want to see something, we cannot love it. Love is looking where we’ve always been afraid to go, staying with the pieces we find there, and not shutting down when the experience gets uncomfortable. There is no shame in choosing fear. One day I know you’ll choose love.
